Seven Ways to Keep Your Respiratory System Healthy

"The action that lasts right from our birth to death is breathing."
So why not take care of our breathing, lungs and the respiratory system.

First of all let's see what the respiratory system consists of ?
These include the nose, pharynx, larynx, trachea, bronchi and lungs.

Here are the seven ways that can keep your respiratory system healthy:-

1.Use Neem as a substitute

Neem!!! Due to its anti-inflammatory, antiviral, antibacterial and antifungal properties, neem is ideal to help inflamed bronchial tubes and diminish the production of sticky secretions that block airways…

Why can't we be like PK!

 2. Use Aloe vera and stay away from air pollution

Stay away from polluted areas. If the air we inhale is polluted or full of unhealthy particulate material that harms our body, then, who the lungs or any part of our respiratory system are to curb the loss caused by inhaling it.

According to the book, 'Healing Foods' by DK Publishing House, aloe-vera "can help soothe coughs and bronchial asthma. Its antiseptic properties can help heal colds and sore throats." It is densely packed with antiviral and anti-bacterial properties that can help shield you against infections and their aggravation.

"Breathing is living and living is luxury."

3. Do practice meditation and breathing exercises

If you have ache in legs, you are advised to move it in nice circles, if you have headaches, proper hand movements are suggested, likewise if you have respiratory problems you are advised some breathing exercises or meditation possesses breathing exercises and asanas that keeps body, mind and soul balanced.

 4. Keep distance from infectious people

Respiratory problems are quite contagious. So be at a safe distance from people who are sneezing, coughing or suffering from such diseases. As it is well said,"SOCIAL DISTANCING" in this world wide pandemic.

5. Maintain appropriate BMI and balanced diet

Having proper BMI is a sign of good health. Overweight and obese individuals are more likely to have respiratory symptoms than individuals with a normal BMI, even in the absence of demonstrable lung disease. The lung volumes and capacities become larger with increasing BMI when BMI below 24 kg/m2, otherwise the lung volumes and capacities get smaller with increasing BMI when BMI above 24 kg/m2.

 6.Go on morning walks

Go on morning walks Trust me guys, nature can work wonders, nature heels. Go out there in the morning, feel the wind, feel the serenity of greenery, feel the purity of positive environment. Morning walk not only heals your respiratory system but also makes you active for the whole day.

 7. Go to doctors and timely intervals

Lungs are something that are working passively without asking for a penny. I know this might sound hilarious to some of readers but if they are working miraculously for us isn't it our duty to take care of them? in retribution all you have to do is go to the doctor for checkup in proper intervals.

If you read this, I wish you an amazing health.
